I have a terrible sense of direction. Most people imagine this is a bug, in the operating system of a middle aged foodie. I prefer to think of it was a feature, that gets me closer, by virtue of serendipity, to more meals I've been angling to eat.

On Sunday night, a few missed turns and we found ourselves in Westmont (which is a super cool spot with lots of great eateries and options) and rather than just checking Bricco off the list for must try South Jersey pizza, we also made our way to Jersey Kebab for a definitely delicious heaping helping of Pita, Falafel and babaganoush (which I just mis-spelled for the 6th straight time without any help) which we absolutely loved, but what we loved even more, was the surprising sign in the window, which captures the community spirit of Jersey Kebab, as beautifully as the food.

Jersey Kebab in Westmont. Delicious dining and lovely people.

Jersey Kebab

A double dose of deliciousness - the Funghi Mista pizza was impossibly delicious (even the half we brought home and ate a few hours later!) and the sampler platter from Jersey Kebab was absolutely amazing, as was basking in the positive vibes of generosity and community spirit that emanates from the happy, smiling faces of all who welcomed us inside.
