Of course, this is a completely subjective question without any real answer :)  

But people coming to the NJ shore from other states, other countries and even other counties within New Jersey, often are completely unaware of some of the great beaches, boardwalks and places and spaces to see and explore, once outside of their own area of familiarity.  

The good news?  

No matter what your personal preference, NJ has more than a few great beaches to visit for a day, to spend a summer or to lounge around for a lifetime.
